Nickel Alloy Pipe Reducers
Transitioning between different pipe diameters requires a fitting that maintains fluid dynamics while withstanding the intense stress of the reduction zone. 28Nickel manufactures and supplies premium nickel alloy concentric and eccentric reducers, engineered to seamlessly step down line sizes in highly corrosive chemical processing, heavy oil refining, and marine environments without compromising structural integrity or system pressure.
Available Alloy Grades for Reducers
The reduction zone of a pipeline is often subjected to increased fluid velocity and turbulence, accelerating erosion-corrosion. By selecting a high-performance superalloy—such as the pitting-resistant إنكونيل 625 or the acid-defying Monel 400—our reducers ensure your system safely handles aggressive media for decades.

Types of Nickel Alloy Reducers We Supply
Depending on whether your pipeline is vertical or horizontal, and whether you need to prevent vapor pockets or ensure complete drainage, we supply the exact reduction profile your system requires.
Concentric Reducers
Symmetrical, cone-shaped fittings that align the centerlines of the larger and smaller pipes. Typically used in vertical piping runs and discharge sides of pumps where fluid accumulation is not a concern.
Eccentric Reducers
Designed with one flat side to keep the bottom or top of the pipe level. Crucial for horizontal pipelines, especially at the suction side of pumps, to prevent air or vapor pockets that cause destructive cavitation.
Swage Nipples (Concentric/Eccentric)
A specialized type of reducer used for small-bore piping systems. Often used to transition from a larger butt-weld connection to a smaller socket-weld or threaded (NPT) connection in instrumentation networks.
Reducer Inserts & Bushings
Forged fittings manufactured to ASME B16.11 standards. Used in high-pressure, small-diameter piping (3000#, 6000#) to step down the size within a socket-weld or threaded tee or cross.
