Incoloy® 800 / 800H / 800HT
Incoloy 800 series alloys are nickel-iron-chromium superalloys designed for high-strength and resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures. The alloy structure remains stable even after long-term exposure to high heat.
- Formes courantes : Seamless Pipe, Welded Tube, Plate, Sheet, Round Bar, Wire, Fittings.
- Caractéristiques principales : Excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking.
- Temperature Range: Up to 1100°F (595°C) for Alloy 800; Above 1100°F for 800H/HT.
- Stock Status: Available in stock (Standard sizes) & Custom Forging.
While all three grades share the same basic chemical composition, the differences lie in the Carbon, Aluminum, and Titanium content, and the annealing process used. These differences determine the alloy's creep rupture strength.
Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800)
Carbon: 0.10% max
Annealing: 980-1040°C
General purpose grade. Used for applications up to 1100°F (595°C) where high ductility and corrosion resistance are required.
Incoloy 800H (UNS N08810)
Carbon: 0.05 - 0.10%
Annealing: 1150-1200°C
Solution annealed with controlled carbon for significantly higher creep-rupture strength. Designed for temps above 1100°F.
Incoloy 800HT (UNS N08811)
Carbon: 0.06 - 0.10%
Al + Ti: 0.85 - 1.20%
The strongest of the series. The specific addition of Titanium and Aluminum ensures maximum high-temperature structural integrity.

*Note: Alloy 800H/HT have slightly lower room-temperature strength due to the high-temperature solution anneal treatment, which maximizes creep properties at high heat.
Traitement pétrochimique
Ethylene furnace quench boilers, hydrocarbon cracking, and pigtails/headers.
Heat Treating Equipment
Radiant tubes, muffles, retorts, and fixtures exposed to high furnace temperatures.
Production d'électricité
Superheater and reheater tubing in fossil fuel plants; heat exchangers in nuclear reactors.
Industrial Sheathing
Sheathing for electric heating elements due to good electrical resistance.
