Custom Nickel Alloy Investment Casting

Custom Castings (OEM)

Investment Casting | Sand Casting | Rapid Prototyping

When off-the-shelf components don't meet your specific design requirements, our Custom Casting division delivers. We specialize in producing complex, near-net-shape components in high-performance nickel and cobalt alloys, tailored exactly to your technical drawings.

  • Methods: Precision Investment (Lost Wax) & Sand Casting.
  • Alloys: C-276, Inconel 625, Monel 400, Hastelloy X, and more.
  • Design: 3D Modeling & Pattern Making services available.
  • Weight Range: From 0.1 kg up to 1,500 kg.
Why Custom Casting?

Fabricating complex geometries from solid bar stock or welding multiple plates together is often inefficient and prone to failure points. Custom casting allows for integral structural strength, reduced machining time, and significant material cost savings by using only the metal you need.

Design Freedom

Create internal passageways, curved vanes, and complex contours that are impossible or too costly to machine from solid blocks.

Material Versatility

We pour a wide range of ASTM A494 grades (CW-12MW, CW-6MC, M-35-1) that match the corrosion resistance of wrought alloys.

Reverse Engineering

Have a broken legacy part with no drawings? We can 3D scan existing components to create new patterns and reproduce the part.

Our Casting Process
1

Design & Pattern

We analyze your CAD file and create a pattern using 3D printing (for prototypes) or machined aluminum/steel (for production).

2

Molding & Pouring

Ceramic shells (Investment) or Sand molds are created. Molten nickel alloy is poured under controlled atmosphere.

3

Finishing

Gates and risers are removed. Castings are heat-treated, blasted, and machined to final tolerance.

Method Selection Guide
Caraterística Investment Casting (Lost Wax) Sand Casting
Precision High (±0.1 mm typical) Moderate (±1.5 mm typical)
Surface Finish Smooth (125 RMS) Rougher (250-500 RMS)
Part Size Small to Medium (< 100 kg) Medium to Massive (> 1000 kg)
Tooling Cost Higher (Aluminum dies) Lower (Wood/Plastic patterns)
Best For Complex valves, impellers, medical parts. Large pump casings, volutes, pipe fittings.
Quality Assurance

We ensure the integrity of every pour with comprehensive testing options:

Chemical Analysis

Spectrographic analysis of every heat to ensure UNS/ASTM compliance.

Mechanical Testing

Tensile bars cast with the heat to verify yield, tensile, and elongation properties.

NDT Inspection

X-Ray (Radiography) and Dye Penetrant testing available to detect internal porosity or surface defects.
